Around June of 1996, Michael Dawson developed the Avatar Panospheric Enhancement System, a proprietary system of stereo and spatial sound enhancement. Designed to widen and boost an entire "mix", the Avatar process increases the overall fidelity, richness and dynamic range of music and sound.

The secret behind the Avatar Panospheric Enhancement System is a process of special recording and mixing techniques combined with the use of certain state-of-the-art digital electronics that affect equalization, stereo effects, multi-band enhancement, and 3-D stereo imaging, in addition to other sonic parameters.

With the Avatar process, recorded performances are brighter and seem "closer" to the listener; sounds have more color and clarity. This system dramatically improves the intensity of the stereo environment, making music and the general sound spectrum more lively, increasing depth, and expanding the surround sound effect for the listener.
